Complaints

St Paul’s is always pleased to listen to parents’ concerns about their children’s progress or wellbeing at the school.  Parents are advised, in the first instance, to raise any such concerns with their child’s class teacher. Most issues, in our experience, are happily resolved at this level.

Should the matter remain unresolved, the Head of School is always available to discuss individual cases with parents but if the matter remains unsolved please make an appointment to see the Executive Headteacher. Please make an appointment at the school office for a meeting.

In the unusual event that matters are not settled to your satisfaction, the next step is to inform the Executive Headteacher formally in writing of your concerns, before writing to the Chair of Governors.  At this level, certain observances are necessary to protect the integrity and efficacy of the governing board; governors who have been party to a parent’s concern before it reaches board level are constitutionally unable to vote on the matter. It is therefore important that concerns are addressed solely to the Chair of Governors, who will present the issue to the full board. It is also advised that parents consult the full Complaints Policy adopted by the school in accordance with the Dfe guidelines.  This document is available at any time from the school office

Chair of Governors: Mr Allan Jenkins

All correspondence should be addressed through the school office.

Please see ourwho should I talk to if I have a concern ... poster which gives a clear overview of the process.
